AggreGator ("AggreGator," "we," "us," or "our") is a software service operated by Steele Labs LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use aggregator.watch and the AggreGator service.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • your name;
  • email address;
  • authentication information;
  • company name and website domain;
  • websites you authorize to use the AggreGator widget;
  • articles, URLs, images, text, or other information you submit;
  • messages you send through our contact or support forms; and
  • billing-related account information.

Payments are processed by Stripe. AggreGator does not need to store your complete payment-card number. Stripe may collect and process payment and identity information under its own privacy terms.

If you sign in using Google, we may receive basic account information authorized through Google, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and profile image.

Information Generated Through the Service

To provide AggreGator, we may process:

  • publicly available web pages, articles, press releases, search results, and other public sources related to companies you ask us to monitor;
  • metadata about discovered articles, including titles, source URLs, publication names, dates, and images;
  • AI-generated relevance assessments, summaries, headlines, or teasers;
  • records showing whether an item was approved, edited, ignored, or published;
  • usage, application, error, security, and diagnostic logs; and
  • information about your subscription and service usage.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide and operate AggreGator;
  • authenticate users and maintain accounts;
  • monitor the public web for relevant company news;
  • process articles and generate summaries or suggested copy;
  • publish content you approve through AggreGator;
  • process subscriptions and billing;
  • send transactional, verification, service, and account communications;
  • respond to support, privacy, and billing requests;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
  • debug and improve the service; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

AI Processing

AggreGator may use artificial intelligence or machine-learning services to evaluate publicly available articles, determine potential relevance, and generate summaries or suggested text.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Customers should review content before publishing it.

Information submitted to these services is limited to information reasonably necessary to perform the requested function.

Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate AggreGator, including providers for:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure;
  • authentication;
  • search and web discovery;
  • artificial intelligence;
  • email delivery;
  • error monitoring;
  • payment processing; and
  • other technical services.

These providers may process information on our behalf in connection with providing their services.

Google

If you choose Google authentication, Google processes information in accordance with Google's own policies. AggreGator receives only the information authorized through the applicable authentication flow.

Stripe

Stripe provides payment-processing and subscription-management services for AggreGator. Stripe may collect payment, identity, device, and transaction information directly from you. Stripe acts as a payment service provider and handles payment information under its own privacy practices.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

AggreGator uses cookies and similar browser storage that are necessary for authentication, sessions, security, and operation of the service.

Third-party services such as Google or Stripe may use their own cookies when you interact with those services.

AggreGator does not currently use information for third-party behavioral advertising.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information:

  • to service providers working on our behalf;
  • when directed or authorized by you;
  • to protect AggreGator, our customers, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats;
  • when required by law or valid legal process;
  • as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business; or
  • with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Public Content

Content that you approve for publication through an AggreGator widget is intended to become publicly visible on the website where you install the widget.

Original news articles and external sources remain hosted by their respective publishers.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and why we process it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information.

No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update certain account and company information through AggreGator.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning personal information, such as rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain information.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children's Privacy

AggreGator is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Use

AggreGator is operated from the United States. If you access the service from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes or as required by law.

The effective date at the top of the policy identifies the latest version.
